redness around the temples

hey guys i was wondering if anyone could help me out, i have recently been enjoying a extremely irritated scalp for some reason and especially around the temples where i have been using minoxidil 5% it has red blotches and is estremely dry feeling. Has this happened to anyone else using it because i have been on it for 3 months with no problems.

dunno sorry, but maybe try tgel on those days you dont use nizoral

i use nizoral every 3 days and tgel once in between

i still have some irritation but nothin crazy


if you arent on nizoral get on it and then use the tgel the next day after

I have the same exact problem. I started applying my minoxidil a different way then I started getting these red blotches on my temples and even a little on my forehead and they are always feeling dry. Funny thing is I don't directly apply minoxidil there but the blotches remain. It really sucks...everyone asks me what it is and I tell them I have a rash...lol. Hopefully it goes away. I think the blotches could be a sign that the minoxidil might be absorbing to a greater extent.
