Red Hue To Hair? How To Prevent And Fix?

I've been wearing this piece since mid October now, with washing once a week.

I feel like it's now got a red tone to it. I know this is a common issue but how does one prevent or fix it?

It appears red because it's lost its green pigment. Use a color correcting shampoo or conditioner to add back the green tone.

If you're brown, then just a dark or black coloring conditioner will also work.
