Recently QUIT minoxidil

I just decided to quit the use of mino yesterday because of a constant itchy scalp with what appears like dandruff flaking off. ive been on it for about 8.5 months and have seen zero results in fact im most certain my hair is worse probably because of this constant itch ive had for about 4-5 months. my question to you guys is after quitting this treatment what should i expect? apporximately how long til my hair goes back to normal and the itch will subside? my scalp has been shiney as well since the itch began, was the minoxidil really damaging my head? *ive been on finasteride for 7.5 months as well

No answer to your original question, but are you using Nizoral? For me it takes away the itch caused by minoxidil. First i use normal shampoo, then let nizoral soak in for about 5 minutes and afterwards use some conditioner. I do this routine once a week. Hope it can be some sort of help to you.
