Receding Temples :(

Hey everyone,

just though i'd register to this site has it seems really informative and it's nice to know i'm not alone in hair loss at such a young age.

Anyway, I say young (i'm 25). I noticed about 2 months ago my temples and general hair line was receding rapidly.

Is their any products that work to stop the receding or even regrow my hair back? I'm from the UK and i've read about Regaine but thats like ?50 for a mere 3 months!

I just want something that'll slow down the process and hopefully regrow the hair, without paying a huge sum of cash.

Please can anyone help, i'd be most grateful.

Anyway, the best thing to do is to get on Finasteride + Minoxidil + Nizoral Shampoo

finasteride will be more expensive than minoxidil. To save some money you can either ask your doctor to prescribe you Proscar which is a 5 mg tablet of propecia and you can cut it into 5 pieces or you can try ordering generic tablets from places like inhouse pharmacy. Although, I'm not sure if they ship to UK. finasteride is essential if you want to stop further hairloss.

As far as minoxidil, you can also find different brands besides Rogaine, for example Kirkland's which is only about $25 for a 6 month supply.

Most likely you will not regrow hair on your temples, there is a chance that you will, but unfortunately that chance is pretty low.

The good news if your loss is tabilized with medication you can get a hair transplant on your temples when you're older.
