receding neck hairline

Actually, i think it is normal if you're headed for Norwood 7. I've seen Norwood sevens that have a high neck hairline and a very low hairline on top and essentially just have a rope of hair around their head.

Wow are u serious I mean I know I'm headed a nw7 but u can't tell nothing cause I shave my head a 0 guard and it looks decent. With me being skin bald would make it 10x worse I can't even use a piece if I wanted too. Fml. I really wanna kill my self and the worst part is the back has that hairloss feeling that u feel when ur loosing hair on top

I have/had that too. My hair was noticeably thinner below the pointy bit at the back of my head. It seems to have thickened up since starting minoxidil and finasteride though

same for hairloss around the ears. It's male pattern baldness. I have it, and most of the balding people I know have it too.

Putting minoxidil on your neck sounds like a big pain in the ***.

What you've got is just a more severe case of male pattern baldness so, yes, it will work probably just as well as anywhere else on your scalp.

Wow! I just postedabout this myself...not even reading this read. I have the exact same thing happening to me. I was a diffuse thinner on top and now that I'm a Norwood 7 I've been noticing the exact same thing you're talking about. No hair above my ears anymore as well as my hairline on the back now stops at almost the top of my ears, instead of at the bottom like it used to. I've been buzzing whats left with a no guard clipper every few days for the last couple years, but you can still tell where there new hairloss at my ears and neckline is also taking place. I also have where the remaining hair on the sides and back are more sparse than they used to be....Going bald SUCKS!
