receding hairline

i'm pretty sure my hair line is receding, what do you guys think? Anybody here on finasteride or dutasteride? I know they stop hair loss but have they also been found to bring back a receding line? I'm only 21, so is now a good time to stop it.

it looks like the start of a receding hair line. i've had modest results with finasteride on my hairline.

i would recommend finasteride to you.

what about dutasteride? It's stronger, blocks both types of DHT? And since the receding has just started, is there a chance that the hair i've lost will come back

there is a chance your temple hair will come back on finasteride and or dutasteride.

yes i am currently taking finasteride.

i used dutasteride for around 7 months by itself except i noticed my hair was getting worse while on it (positive pull test, poorer quality hair) - but i think this was because my dutasteride got damaged by heat or degraded somehow.

i ordered dutasteride from a different source and got the same finasteride. so i am on finasteride and dutasteride now.

it is unlikely that a doctor will prescribe you dutasteride; i recommend finasteride ( oral 1 mg per day).

basically i want to be on dutasteride, but i don't want to stop taking finasteride because i know finasteride works for me.

no.
although its possible i've had subtle changes i haven't notice - but everything seems rather normal in my life.
