Hello my friends, i'm new to this site and i want a little help with my hairline, cause the last 3 days i am obsessed when the idea stuck into my head when i see my scalp under strong light and after bath.Generaly i've always had fine hair like straw and light and fluffy.Just a little genetic history :my grandfathers in both sides have their hair at 70's with just recession,1 of 2 mother's brother have alopecia,1 of 2 of father's brother also have and i also have 2 brothers ,and one of them has it at 23. Everyone else says me that they dont see something concerning,my front hair is thick for fine hair actually and i don see hair on pillow, only in bath when shampooing i see 10-15 for example.I don't have a problem with an M hairline cause my father has it and i'm fine with it.I just want my hair until my 35 it would be nice.I just don't want to be bald (in crown specially) from that age and i freak out. So here are pictures of receding template and crown in diferrent light levels or pulled back. Also i noticed in strong light every case of recession looks worse and my one template is more goes more in.

How old are you? If you're in your early 20's, this is definitely on the aggressive side. Your hairline is an unstable NW3, which means it will definitely get worse if you do nothing about it. You also have what looks like very early vertex thinning. Your hairline might not get much better, but you've got a good shot at keeping your crown if you get on finasteride, minoxidil, and nizoral.

I wouldn't call it aggressive necessarily. It all depends on how fast you are receding/shedding hair. Some people to get NW2/3 and their hair loss stops, but thats unusual if it starts as young as you are. I would still say your hairline is a NW2 with pretty good density. Crown looks pretty good. The temple recession is getting pretty bad though. You definitely have male pattern baldness and not just a mature hairline. Best bet of maintaining your hair is to jump on finasteride.

Also I wouldn't look at relatives or your dad's hair to judge what yours is going to do. I have aggressive and premature male pattern baldness and no one else in my family does.

It's this area circled in red that gives it away.

It's freyed and thin looking, and also not as wide compared to the front of your hairline. This is an indicator of active hairloss, which is why I think your hair will continually worsen. This kind of pattern usually leaves an island of hair out front.

On the upside it looks like you have pretty good density. Sorry if I scared you, I probably should use "aggressive" more sparingly. In the grand scheme of hairloss, there are lots of people way worse off.

you dont nessecarily need to have "excessive" hairloss or shedding to go bald. you however are balding, hairline is receding beyond a mature hairline, and crown is not looking thick. i would start looking into treatments asap. dont be in denial.

one thing i'll do for sure is go to a specialist to see it in person. and i'm not in denial. if doctor says i have a serious case that needs treatment i accept it of course. only thing that i don't like is the well known side effects.

lol its not a serious case...It is just male pattern baldness starting. I honestly don't think yours even looks aggressive, just started young. You don't have any diffuse thinning and I don't see much miniaturization on your hairline. If you don't treat it though, it will most likely get worse. The rate it gets worse is unknown to us though.

yes and i think with treatment it will ensure and stabilize it, to not get worse. thats my opinion

These days, its seems that hair loss starts even younger, I was 20 when I had a worse level of hair loss then you, Im 23 now.

Because you are fairly young, its most likely that you thinning has only started quite recently? Which suggests if you try treatment, you would have a decent chance at regrowth.
