Receding hairline ... what's effective?

Hi everyone,

I'd like to know what are the most effective products for stopping a recession of a hairline. Not so concerned with the top of my head but my widow's peak which is becoming more and more defined these past months.

Was thinking of switching from Tricomin to Minoxodil but the box clearly stated that minoxidil will not stop a hairline from receding. Any success with Minoxodil at stopping receding hairlines and temples?

yes people have had good success with minoxidil for frontal recession. from what i'm told, the reason they say it's not intended for receeding hairline is because it's effects weren't studied in that area. just vertex. i started rogaine foam for frontal recession, hope it works!

minoxidil would certainly be more helpful than tricomin in my experience.
you could lookn into gettin some spironolactone if you want to be hardcore and give it some extra protection.

I've been on Spectral DNC for about 10 weeks now and there's a new field of pigmented vellous hairs on my hairline. Just gotta keep waiting now to see if these go terminal!!

Well to "stop" any more receding a dht inhibiter is needed...I think. minoxidil will help you grow hair but wont stop male pattern baldness
