Hi guys!
From the last 1 year I have been suffering from hair loss.
I'm 21 now and never had any hair loss
before. My dad has thick hair even thicker than mine and there is no history of male pattern baldness in my family.
I had really thick hair even at age of 20.But all of a sudden it changed. Now my hair is dry, brittle and dull most of the times.I had been diagnosed with seborrheic dermatitis 4 months back.

My hair takes much longer time to grow which wasn't the case before.
My hairline has receded by half an inch during this period, although I don't have a thinning crown.
So can you guys help me out by figuring out the actual problem?

Hair looks perfectly fine to me man. I don’t see it. Just get off this forum and enjoy your full head of hair and if you’re still really worried, visit a local dermatologist. But, I doubt he’s gonna tell you anything different because it’s looking good!

I did.He said it might be the start of male pattern baldness but the question is it possible with no family history?

Yes, it is possible but just less likely. However, anyone can carry the baldness gene and sometimes it skips a generation.

For now, your hair still looks great in my opinion. Of course, it might be the start of male pattern baldness, but that’s the whole thing, you never know how it’s gonna turn out. Might be nothing, because if I look at your hair and judging by those pics, I see absolutely nothing alarming.

I’d suggest just keeping an eye on it for now, make a picture once a month or something to see how everything is or isn’t developing. Just try not to worry about it too much for now mate!

Your hair looks identical to mine and I too had seborric dermatitis which caused my concern..... I've been trying to keep it under control...

Is your hairline receding?
I'm not sure maybe a bit, after almost a year and half of being diagnosed with Seb derm .....my hair hasn't changed much maybe gotten a bit better since I been using ketoconazole shampoo...n tryin to eat better....not much has changed though but I'm also 32.

Your hair looks great though, thick and dark with a low hairline....your fine esp with family history being good.....my family genes sucked but I've somehow kept a nw0 untill thirty and think I may be borderline nw1 now....you may just be maturing a little.
