Receding Hairline At 16? Or Just Bad Blending On Haircut?

I’ve been getting fade haircuts and I’ve noticed recently a side of my hair near my temple is kind of empty and it makes the front bangs of my hair look lopsided. Are my temples receding? I don’t remember it looking like this always, I think the sides of my hair where it gets blended aren’t long enough, or at least I hope. I included a pic of about a month ago when my hair was longer.

Did you ask the barber to cut your hair shorter over that area? it would be weird if that portion of hair would decide not to grow. However, this does not mean you have hairloss. Next time you cut your hair, just ask your barber not to cut that area and check if it grows.
