Receding Hairline and Rogaine

As I've read on this website, Rogaine can help receding hairlines even though the packaging states otherwise. Can anyone provide any more information? Why the conflicting information? And it's safe to apply it to your receding hairline?

you can only try and see some guys on here have said they regrew there hair while many others said it did not do anything.

I had no real regrowth on my hair line so after 4 and half years I recently gave up few weeks ago....

fact is its different for everyone and since there is no other real hair loss cure on the market that's proven and safe.... very little choice !
