Receding Hairline? Advice Needed On This Please

guys.

Need some advice from someone who has experienced a receding hairline or one who knows information regards to it.

FYI I have an appointment to see a hair dermatologist booked in quite soon so hopefully I can get some questions answered as it’s causing me personal stress for over a year now with Constant thinking about it

One side of my hairline seems kinda solid although thin it is quite low, however the other side is gradually getting higher, and when I comb it, it has a weird parting.

So question 1: On the first image where it kind of parts this hair is real thin, is this hair going to recede further?

2: is the crown okay or does it look like it is thinning

3:what will my hairline look like soon/ what treatments would be best?

This is how it started for me. Ask your dermatologist about finasteride & minoxidil if you want keep it from getting worse..

For me, it doesn't look like male pattern baldness but more like some other scalp illness, better to first contact dermatologist.

Thanks for the reply, I thought this too. The scalp is quite itchy with some red scabs that sometimes come off too :/

Do you this this scalp issue could have potentially affected the hairline as it was a lot stronger before and one side hasn’t receded at all?

Ps once I’ve been the dermatologist I’ll give you an update

I don't have pics of when it happened. But I remember that my left temple started becoming thinner.
Go to a dermatologist and get a professional opinion.
