Hey y'all. This is my first post, and I want to thank you guys for reading it and giving me some of your time. I really appreciate it!

I have treated my hair like absolute crap for about 2-3 months.

From chemically straightening it and using terrible cheap shampooes, to dipping in the pool every single day after shampooing and not rinsing the chlorine off, to eating absolute garbage.

About 1 month ago I had a severe stress chapter which I'm over.

About 1 week ago, I started noticing I was shedding A LOT more hair than normal. But it is only really happening in my temple area.

Also, I am using a Ketanozacole shampoo called Regenepure DR & NT, and I have noticed the shedding has reduced, but I don't really know if my temples are normal or not, I never really paid attention to my hair, but now I am scared.

I should also mention that my mom's family has no history of male pattern baldness and are rather hairy people, and my dads side does, but his started when he was 45.

In your opinion guys, what does this look like to you? Stress induced hair loss, possible DHT? Should I even be worried?

P.S. - I took these photos after showering, my hair is wet in them. I separated the hair in my temples for you to see.

And one LAST question.

When male baldness starts, hair doesn't just suddenly fall out right? It first thins out slowly till it dissapears?

Thank you SO much for your time.

You should show us a pic of your hairline exposed. From those pics your hair looks okay--no surefire signs of male pattern baldness that I can see. Sometimes men with male pattern baldness will have thinning hair and other times it will just fall out. In my case, for example, I don't really have thinning. I have a thick head of hair but with badly receded hairline corners.

Slick your hair back, or at least pull it back with your hand so we can see the hairline itself. Really hard to give an objective opinion of it when your hairline is covered up.
