Recently ive been tuning in to NBC's "The Biggest Loser." In case you don't know it, its a reality tv show about fat men and women running on tredmills and being pushed to breaking point for our amuzement loosing obscene unhealthy amounts of weight in a really short period of time. Its actually amazing no one has died so far. Anyway ive noticed in every single series ive ever watched of this show, they only EVER choose men with exceptional hairlines and when i say exceptional I mean low narrow foreheads with massive amounts of hair which is incredibly rare on such fat unhealthy specimens as themselves. Including one man Jerry (the guy with grey hair) who is 65 years old and has better hair than most 12 year old boys! So i therefore believe this is discrimantation against fat bald or balding men, because they are specifically only choosing men with good hairlines because, when they become thin the transformation will be more outstanding and they will look ALOT younger as opposed to a fat bald man who gets thin. He will just look like a skinnier bald guy, but will still look old. Anyway I really believe this has been done on purpose....bastards!

Here is the male contestants for this season as proof. Coincidence so many have good hair and low narrow foreheads? You be the judge.

Good point, I think someone has mentioned this before? Also, I have read some people on this forum talking about how they think fat and homeless guys have more hair or something...

Kind of disproves the insulin spike = baldness theory.

You are so infatuated with hairloss that you are totally looking past the fact that these men are overweight/obese. I rather be slick bald than obese any day of the week. And I really don't have any sympathy for these fat bastards because unlike us baldies, they *do* have a choice. :shakehead:

Godddddddammit!!!!!!!!!! Why don't you people understand that you have to have the male pattern baldness gene to have the insulin spike affect your hair.

I dont think I have seen a really fat bald man. Maybe it suppresses testosterone production and in turn DHT or something.

It is very easy to find before and after pictures of obese individuals that have gone on significant dieting and exercise routines that had incredible hair before their weight loss and significant loss after the weight loss.

As someone already stated the insulin spike will not effect these fatties because none of them have the male pattern baldness gene. But in saying that ive notice on this show and from other peoples before and after shots of significant weight loss, their hair appeared to be thinner AFTER the drastic weightloss. They were far from bald but someone else already mentioned maybe being fat somehow suppresses the whole DHT thing. And VIPERGTS, i agree with you. If i was destined to be fat all my life but have great hair as opposed to being bald but having a great muscular body id choose the fit healthy body. Some of these people are genetically fat to, so dont be to hard on them.

I highly doubt that losing weight triggers male pattern baldness to start. Losing hair ( in a non-male pattern baldness fashion) after strict dieting is a well known phenomenon.

Metalheaddude, your observation makes completely sense. They want them to look as young as possible after the show and we all know bald guys always look old.

Yeah man, its really pathetic. Its not just reality tv this happens, but practically every form of media (besides radio). Men with full heads of hair get the best jobs, the hottest women and all the breaks in life. No one wants to see a balding man on the tv. It repulses to many people.

And the same hypocrisy goes for ugly people. Did you ever see an ugly guy saving the world in a movie? Of course not, when ugy guys are hired in movies (like Danny DeVito) they usually act as fools or freaks.

Hmm yes....Its a cruel cruel world. My revenge is to workout and stay in awesome physical shape over the next 5 years, while maintaining a youthful appearance facially by using the anti aging creams etc. Then hopefully Hair Multiplication will be available and im going to get my temples and crown filled in.

My revenge is similiar. I am looking forward to the time when I am 70. Then I will still be in good shape and look like 10-15 younger than my actual age and so I will look better than most guys who are better off than me now. It is actually very sad, that one is looking forward to the age when he is 70. :(

And what are you going to do with this 55yr old looking body when you are 70? Gloat to all the other guys in the old folks home? Have your pick of the wrinkly old pu55y?
You call that revenge for wasting your entire adultlife. I'd say that by the age of 40 about 50% of men dont really care what they look like especially those whose are married with kids.
Anyway if you're bald it wont matter if you've got 6pack abs because when you're fully clothed those out of shape guys with nw1's will still look better than you.

Thin hair or not make the most of it while you're still a young man Taug!
:nono:
