Its just marketing spin. Twisting the facts to suit their version of events ie: to sell their product.
Forget about if your test/DHT levels are high or low what really matters is your follicles succeptability or lack of resistance to it.

Well your hormone levels play a huge part too, i'm not sure if it works this way but what if theres a threshold on the ammount of DHT/T that your follicles 'need' to begin dying? If you can supress the levels below the threshold then you can stave off the process, which is exactly what finasteride does.

The disclaimer that doing this may not grow your hair back tells me all I need to know. :thumbdown2:

I've always been of the opinion that it is a combination of both, sensitivity and dht levels. some will have low dht and but high sensitivity so lose it as fast as someone who has high dht but lower sensitivity...

Either way I've PM'd Bryan about this thread, hopefully he'll see the PM, apparently he gets quite a lot of messages from people on the site.

When you see a nutcase like Dr. Wong say something ridiculous like how "DHT is mostly made from estrogen", it's time to tune-out and go do something more productive with your life than reading what crackpots have to say about hair loss.
