Rates of regrowth/thickening by adding finasteride to minoxidil?

I have been using minoxidil for 2 years and I think I have maximized its usage. Now if I add finasteride, is there a better chance of regrowth/thickening using the minoxidil as well as opposed to finasteride alone? I wouldn't consider stopping minoxidil use, but I guess my question is will the minoxidil have a shot of being more effective than now by using them together?

At worse you'll maintain what you have, at best you'll get better quality hairs because the miniaturization will slowdown.
