most of the pictures are my right temple which is the worse temple. My left is better and I think a 1.5, last few pictures are my left temple

By now I'm pretty convinced that more people on here have imaginary hair loss rather than actual male pattern baldness

Propecia should be scheduled as a mental health drug rather than a hair loss drug since Merck probably makes more money from BDD fulheads than acutual balding people

I had diffuse thinning prior to propecia which is no longer visible mostly. Now I just have bdd about my temples.

Pretty sure it’s atleast nw2 on the right... id love if it would look the same as my left

Real easy fix boyo: look at the norwood scale. It has images taken from a profile perspective. Does the temple recession look as bad as yours? Nope. See, cured your disorder. That'll be 50 bucks please. I'll PM my paypal

Are you daft? It's not like you're editing your pictures are you? Untouched images are an objective reflection of reality no? So it's not the picture in itself, it's the interpretation that's subjective. That's where your brain misfires, and that's why this forum is endlessly spammed by nutcases with pics of near perfect heads of hair

I think we have different definitions of objective and subjective. Objective shouldn’t have any room for interpretation. Comparing two pictures to me is a subjective measurement. Objective would involve actual numbers like the recession being a certain depth or a certain distance from your ears.

If that's the case than nothing is objective because we still have people believing earth was created 10000 years ago while we have dug up fossils that date back millions of years. Ultimately accepting a fact as personal truth comes down to believe, no matter how convincing the evidence may be.

At like 2 months. My hair got insanely thick at one point, I think I’m going through a shed right as I’m slightly more thin now at 10 months

so most probably you responded pretty well to minoxidil huh? Man reading all the experience of diffuse thinners here, it looks like minoxidil is the one thing working for us diffuse thinners. I want to add it to my regimen but I think I'm gonna give finasteride a bit more time.

I think so... ya hold off on rogaine it’s a huge chore. I wish I didn’t go right to it

That’s kinda why I could never use topicals... I would forget to use it, and eventually I’ll end up using it once a month or something lmao

I didnt vote because I dont think you are NW2 yet, but you do have very very very slight recession in your temples. I started like that as well, and 14 years later Im not REALLY bad, but it's worse, so I started AA treatment now (been using minoxidil for 5 years though).

I'd take pics every 3 months and keep an eye on it.
