hi , im 19 and have been suffering from hair loss from the age of 16 i didnt let it bother me as i was really untidy person

now i just buzcut my hair to grade 0.5 and it looks great , i have a good head shape and im really happy , i look like David beckham with a buzzcut but on the sides i have hair loss recceding line.
recently from the back on the crown , i can see hair loss and a patch has begun to show but when i shave my head down to 0.5 it looks ok , not too visible
however i have ordered rogaine foam , but my question is , should i use this foam if i just want to buzzcut my hair all the time or shal i just leave my hair as it is and buzz it every week.
another question is , would i stil continue to loose my hair if i dont do anything bout it.
i do have family connection from my dads side to hair loss.
thank you

What are you on the Norwood Hamilton Scale?

Rogaine does not work as well on receding hair lines, only the crown area.
Also, at your age it may be hard to keep using it daily.

I suggest a different stratagem, go quickly find a chick to marry and marry her around 23.
By the time you do become bald you'd have kids and it wont matter. :woot:

And say you get divorced around 40, you can probably get hair cloning by then.

dont listen to this moron....by you saying it does not work on receding hair lines means you probably have never even tried rogaine and just listen to what the instructions say

yes you can use it there..results will vary from person to person, rogaine works all over the head, they just tested the crown and no other area so they cant say you can use it all over, but why wouldnt you be able to? others will tell you it works everywhere..use the search and youll see threads with results and dont listen to idiots like him :firing:

Yeah it really depends on how you respond to it. Some do regrow hair in the temple region some don't. One thing for sure is catching it early enough. I wish I started when I was younger, might have had more hair at this point of my life. Anyways, welcome and goodluck!

If you have hairloss at 19 you will most likely be a Norwood 3-4 at best by age 35 maybe sooner
