It seriously baffles me how in this modern day and age that the only treatment options we have are ones that are extremely bad for you. Anti-androgens, I refuse to take them ever again..even though I'm really vain about my Hair. How long will it take for someone to create a new treatment which is not detrimental to our health. Its absolute bull**** that the only treatment options we have come with risk and can potentially ruin your vitality.

I agree with what you are saying. I have said it plenty of times before that I hate the fact that I have to take a prescription drug every day to treat my hair loss. IT SUCKS!!! In my eyes balding sucks more so what choice do I have? None. Take finasteride or go bald. Not sure we will ever get treatment options without the potential drawbacks.

Indeed my friend, I agree with you. Unfortunately, we all out of desperation take these drugs because of the lack of choice.

The thing about finasteride that scares me most is not changing my hormonal profile or potential side effects, but the likelihood that it will stop working at some point.

That's when real hell begins. That's when you pray that your genes are not going to lead you to be fully bald on top and also that transplants can still give you good coverage. finasteride must maintain the bridge between the crown and front for an aesthetic fullish head of hair, so far mine has not shown any DHT sensitivity even in my late 20s but you never know.

I currently feel confident I will never be genuinely bald as long as I use my donor hair, but it could hit me 50 plus. Still I would take that now.
