Quickest Way To Get The 'poof' Out Of A New System

Hey guys

I had a new system fitted yesterday and I've got a big family gathering on Saturday. My new hair looks way too much... too dark (black) and too 'poofy'.

I've been wearing a cap today to try and flatten it. I will wash it twice before Saturday to get the puffiness down and hopefully to lessen the dark black colour.

Any other tips?

Lots of conditioner to weigh it down. Wouldn't hurt even get all soft Mega or a conditioner meant for curly or African American hair that will weigh it down a great deal.

I would try soaking it in warm water for 15 minutes, putting it on your head, combing it into your usual style, and then putting a tight baseball cap over it for an hour.
