I was at the vitamin store the other day and I saw 2 products for hair loss. 1 is Shen Min DHT Blocker and the other was Spectoral DNC. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on these items (work, don't work, waste of money etc..) I am worried about Propecia and kind of embarrassed about asking my Dr. for Propecia.

Ahh, I just looked up Spectral DNC. You've probably seen this before, I see it on the shelf all the time at GNC......
Basically, their ingredients are slapped together with a marketing similar to that of the infamous Provillus. The effects of all the ingredients are mere speculation, except for the one proven ingredient- minoxidil 5%. Save your money and get some bulk generic minoxidil.

* Minoxidil 5% (meets EP and USP specifications)
* Aminexil SP94
* Retinol
* Nanosomes
* Copper Peptides
* Vitamin & Mineral Complex
It's about £20, $42... The only product that will grow hair is minoxidil, which you can buy a lot cheaper... The other ingredients may* help.... Not a snake oil, but another way to sell old rope.
