So, I am 22 years old and have had a receding hairline for a few years now... nothing major yet but definitely noticeable. I have been thinking about taking propecia/finasteride for a while but was scared by the side effects, and the cost.

However, I'm starting to think that now is the time to start.

So, my questions are: How many people taking finasteride actually experience negative side effects? I see all sorts of numbers on the internet and all kinds of posts here, both negative and positive, I'd like some sort of summary. Basically, is it worth the cost/effort/risk?

Also, I'm thinking about ordering generics from Cipla... how does that compare to brand name propecia, and where is a good place to order?
I'm thinking of unitedpharmacies.com, has anyone tried that?

-Thanks

very few people experience side effects, only about 4% so yes its definitely worth trying.

Unitedpharmacies is reliable although I've recently strated using genhair for my dutasteride and they also sell generic finasteride quite cheaply.
