Questions for experienced hair wearers

I am a newbie and considering going to hair replacement route. My age is 24. I have a few questions.

1. ) The companies claim that the swiss lace hair systems last for 6-9 months. Is that true? If not, how long does a swiss lace last. I work in a soft environment( as a lecturer in college). But my place has hot and humid climate and I sweat a lot.

2.) The companies claim that a french lace last for 1-1.5 years. However they are more detectable. How much detectable is the french lace. Ifsomeone is standing 6 inch apart from you, can they know that I am wearing a system if I use a french lace?

3) I am also worried about the lace colour. Generally when I see online sites, they dont give an option to choose the lace color. If the color of the lace doesnot match the colour of my skin, wouldn't the lace show through?

Thanks in advance

Hi Bernardo ;

Thanks for sharing your experience man. Just one small question. Since I am a newbie to this route, the specialist is recommending a french lace at first. I am worried about it. How much detectable is a french lace? Does people around you easily notice that you are wearing hair if you are using french lace ? I don't expose the front hairline much. Typically I brush sideways.

By the way, your pictures with hair systems look terrific. :)

1&2 - how long a hair system will last is a different question to peak or best. Personally, mine are best in their first 6-months and while they can last longer, I change over so my hair system is always peak best. There are some good tutorials out there on how to extend your hair systems life.

3 - you should have the option to determine the colour of the base. I know the company I use allow many different tones.
