Questions About Products Before Starting a Regimen

Hello all, this is my first post here. I found the website today and have been reading for the better part of the morning. I had some questions about a couple products and how I can or should introduce them into a new treatment regimen.

I am currently 26 and I first started to notice thinning on the crown and at the temples about a year and a half ago. I did some research then (didn't find this site, which has been much more helpful) and decided to use DS Labs shampoo in combination with Rogaine. I didn't do any photo documentation, but the girlfriend seemed to notice an improvement around 8-10 months in. Recently, she started complaining about the rogaine stains on the towels and that, along with my desire to find a more natural, pill-free solution, led me to look for some new treatments.

After reading the men's guide to treatment here, I found a couple products that I was interested in using listed below:

My questions are:

  • Where does each of these products fit in to a treatment regime?
  • How does the tricomin differ from the revivogen?
  • How much overlap do all of them have/are all three necessary?
  • How or when should I introduce each component? I understand it is not ideal to just start everything at once.
  • I know Nizoral should be a part of this as well, but is there any difference between using the Revivogen or Tricomin shampoos on off days?

I did some reading in the sticky threads at the top, but nothing seemed to address this specifically. Thank you guys for any help!

-no experience with revivogen, S5 is a product that (in simple terms) protects follicles, Tricomin is a product that (again in simple terms) grows new and/or healthier hair
-Tricomin is based on a type of chemical called copper peptide, not sure about revivogen
-S5 and Tricomin help hair in different ways, so definitely use both. Minoxidil can be compared to Tricomin as it works to grow new/ better hair. I suggest that u consider it. Again, no knowledge of revivogen Sry
-Start S5 immediately. I had no shed, plus u need to begin protecting ur current hair asap. Add Tri or Min immediately aswell. U may experience some shedding. U will be fine after a few months.
-Shampoos are the only source of the chemical ketoconazole. It should be used 2 or 3 times a week. The remaining days would require another shampoo. Consider using the spray or lotion version of Tricomin to reduce the number of shampoos in your life.

I hope this helps clear up some of ur questions.
