Your hair looks great Fanjeera, although you might want to look at getting a graduated density hairline at the front on your next piece, for increased realism.

How have your friends and family reacted?
They all started asking weird questions if I had colored my hair or just said something's different. Dense hair is what looks best and I don't want to make it more realistic I guess. Right now it looks like I've got legit model tier hair. I'm a young guy and if you want to look as young beautiful and healthy as possible you need the density. And darkness as well (testosterone makes the body produce more melanin). Why they started asking if I had colored my hair is probably because it's a little bit darker than my original hair.

Not to knock it, but do you think it looks better than your real hair did?
Absolutely! That's what I wanted from the years long battle. To come out with more than I had before and only a hair system can achieve that. I also let the hairline put lower than it was before.

That's very unnatural looking. It literally looks like a wall of hair on a receding hairline. that's two red flags to not having a natural looking appearance.

need a graduated hairline with semi-see through looking hair at the front that has the appearance of growth out of the scalp.

where did you buy your hair piece?
It's unnatural, but it's not VERY unnatural. I bought it from Arcos which is in Germany. Anyway it's tons better than to look diffusing and receding. we, balding men, are losers anyway

I've been doing a lot of worrying about finasteride, I think I'm ready to give it a try

Now I just need to get to a Doctor ASAP for that prespecription before my hair falls out

There are various ways. You can thoroughly soak the piece and then very carefully pull a few hairs out at random along the hairline till you have reduced the density. If the knots are soaking wet they come undone without too much of a pull. Obviously do this very gradually. You don't want a baldspot at your hairline.

Another way is to use dots of hair removed like Nair, which you apply though the lace base. It dissolves the hair it touches. Again care and discretion required. You probably want to do it over 2 or 3 goes.

For your next piece think of ordering a graduated hairline.
