Well stop complaining then and start using finasteride or accept going bald.

Min won't save you in the long run. You really have to use either CB, RU or finasteride, otherwise you will go bald.

as i understand while using minoxidil you only mask your hair loss while its happening, and you will still will lose your natural normal hair, but will have fake minoxidil hair and then if u discontinue with minoxidil the real state of ur scap will show?

If you quit min you will lose all the hairs that are dependent on it. You will also look balder than you are now depending on how long you have used it for.
side effects i got from finasteride and dutasteride are just slowly lower libido, decrease in semen volume, Honestly the decrease in libido isn't that bad, i can still get an erection when i want, just not random boners. Small price to pay for your hair.

Because he obviously wants to keep his hair and since he does not want to use either CB or RU he kinda has to use finasteride. I also know that finasteride can cause horrible side effects (thats why I don't use it) but it is a very small minority that get them even after quitting. That is why it is still a good option for most people.

I am not really promoting it. All I am saying is that if he wants to keep his hair without using RU or CB, that he will have to use finasteride. There is no other way (or he could try a tranny regime). And you have to realise that you are small minority, most men that use finasteride are fine.

Dude I am really sorry that you have had a horrible experience on finasteride, but most men experience no or very mild side effects. The reason for why I am not taking finasteride is because I am also young and I do not want to f*** up my future. And because I know that I will be constantly worrying about potential sides if I do decide to take it. But I still know that the chances of experiencing very bad sides are incredibly small.

Oh my God...please re-read that "journal" and understand the context. I've read your other posts. You obviously have an agenda.
I don't care if you take any hair loss product or not. As an adult you need to make your own choices after proper research and if possible under the guidance of a professional. What I take issue with is your blatant misinformation and lies. Almost all of the current hair loss treatments available right now carry possible risks.
I don't like to feed trolls so please don't reply to me again and I won't do the same.

Try finasteride if your hairloss is causing you a lot of anxiety. Just be prepared for what can happen...
1. This isn’t a simple case of “it either works or doesn’t work” it’s more like, finasteride works, doesn’t, or destroys your hair. I’m sure some PROpecia dude will pipe up now and say that can’t happen but it does and it’s all over this site.
2. Sexual sides are NOT 1-2 percent LOL.
This is not a hairloss drug, it’s a drug to suppress DHT. That being said, someone posted here earlier saying they had low libido and weak errections but it was better than hair loss. That was pretty much my experience too. The sexual sides do suck and my girl preferred my raging boners(obviously) but hair is more important.
I didn’t even realise I had weaker erections or no miring wood at first.
I would say AT LEAST 50% user will experience this minor side. Some choose to talk about it’s, others don’t.
Do not think for a moment that 1-2% is accurate. That was a lie and is pure denial now lol however if finasteride thickened my hair agian I’d maybe accept the low libido. It was stressful though.
If you’re NW3 diffuse why not try it. I will say this though IF you experience a massive shed for more than 3 months...taper off. You’ll read “ride out the shed” it’s all bullshit. No proof on this site anywhere to show a massive shed and then regrown. Just parrots echoing what they read as far back as 2004.
It’s the same with “people with no side are living their lives” you read that all over this site, but that’s just not true.
Don’t expect this hormone altering drug to thicken your hair and you live completely side affect free for 15 years haha that’s too good to be true. If someone can link me to a guy who this happened to I’ll be blown away, but that’s right, this mystical being is living his life somewhere.
Best realistic outcome....lower libido, weaker errections and no moring wood, but all your hair back. That’s worth a go still. But remember my friend, it can go much worse.

@Martinblue i was a bit short there. I just mean this is making you more stressed.
If you’re not already, you should squeeze some meditation in daily, start some exercise and get your diet in check. I’ve been off finasteride for 2 months and my libido goes up and down. I just try to relax, I’m sure everything will balance out soon.
