I've been on Proscar 1mg for almost 2 months. I am a norwood 1 with minor frontal thinning. When will this kick in?

Need to give it at least 6 months but you'll need give it a year to really be sure.

i am also a Norwood 1. i was thinking about finasteride but not too sure if a drug is what i want to take now. have u had any sides? are u just receding in your temples like me?

Do some research my friend. If you don't know that answer you should have never started it. I am not trying to be a jerk here but its stunning you would be taking a drug without the most basic information.

I haven't really had any sides, just a rash on both wrists that probably isn't even Proscar-related seeing as I work in a dish area with alot of different soaps. I'm maintining my temples by using antioleum along with the other ross products. The hair specialist/transplant doctor I go to see has this stuff and it's been working great. It's a topical dht inhibitor. He took a strand test from all areas of my scalp and my hair responded really well to it. But I still wanted to go on finasteride cuz I want an internal dht inhibitor. I think ppl(especially thinning norwood 1-2's) should really look into this cuz it's working really good for me. I know the basic information on Propecia I'm just trying to get an idea from you guys when it started to work for you.
