Been through it all in 10 years---Negatives:
- Messy to put on and takes time (I have to do entire head). Bathroom can get somewhat messy too.
-Sometimes tough to get a consistent all around. Does not look good unless consistent application.
- Have to be careful with frontal application, not too little, not too much, otherwise may be obvious.
- Better to wipe the residual on the hair after application with a tissue. The residual on the hair is what can lead to running, especially if hair gets soaked by rain. Hair has to get really wet for it it drip. Avoid the rain! A little rain is no problem.
- No problem swimming, however can not touch hair to dry at all with towels or hands (this sucks)
- No problems sweating as far as runoff, but the shine with dark couvre in thin areas I do not like (black hair). Does not look good with sweat.
- Have to be careful that coating is not scraped, branch scrape ect., as will leave an obvious line on scalp which can be noticeable if real thin in area.
- Can not have others grap hair or touch scalp as may transfer to hand or shirt (example backyard football). Helmets can get messy especially f sweating. Sweating bad in a helmet is disaster.
- Messes up pillow when wear overnight. Hairspray is the key to keep the transfer at minimum to hands and pillow.
- Best application look is to put on overnight, then shower in morning with just water, then just touch up areas in morning...gives a real natural look(Used to do, but a pain, plus I like the feeling of a good shampoo in the morning)
- If scalp is flaky or peeling, it will go on like crap and not be consistent in application.
- If leave on overnight and no shower, shine from oil on scalp looks somewhat funny (dark brown couvre), which I do not like.
*** Even with the negatives, still an awesome product!! I go from bald to basically a full head of hair. I even tricked my hair transplant doctor and nurse. The nurse said you don't need a transplant (have lost 80% of head

) Doctor said he has never seen a better cover up in over 20 years of practice.
