Question regarding the amount of minoxidil applied on head

I was wondering If 1ml of 5% minoxidil on my whole head is going to be enough to gain any type of success. Or would I have to apply 1ml of minoxidil per region? (1ml to crown, 1ml to temple).

1ml is supposed to be the total amount used in one application, so the max to use each day is 2ml.

However, I think that maybe 1.25-1.5ml is more realistic sometimes especially if you feel your haven't covered everywhere.

At night i apply 3ml Total, 2ml between temples and frontal lock, 1ml to back.

day i apply about the equivilent in foam. been doing this for about 3 months and it seems to have been working well

That seems like a hell of a lot to be using. 1.5ml should cover the whole head..

I am struggling with the foam at the moment.. half a capful just does not cover my whole head. You need atleast a capful and if you hands start melting the foam then you will even struggle with a capful.

However, I think the foam is a great great concept if I can get used to applying it..

damn 3ml a night? that sounds pretty intense.. Does it speed up the regrowth process? Ive been using 1ml to 1.25ml Its only been a month so I don't see much progression at all except shedding more than usual. Keeping a positive mindset and being patient.
