What provides a more thick and dense appearance;
Thick individual shafts of hair, but perhaps 60-70 follicles per cm2,
or
Thinner shafts of hair, but 80-90 follicles per cm2.
Just from casual observation over the last few weeks with my own hair, and that of peers, colleagues, random dudes in the street, I don't believe my natural hairs density of follicles per cm2 to be very high, just by looking at the gaps on my scalp when I part my hair in different directions etc.... however aside from the areas where I'm receded, my hair appears to be quite thick and healthy looking. I know it differs between individual etc, but is it worth getting a scalp mapping from a specialist to learn what my natural density is at the moment, for potential future hair transplants?
