i was at my doctor today regarding my folliculitis, since it has come back, he think it may be ringworm where the derm said folliculitis, but anyways he told me to pick up nizoral 2% to help with my bumps and scabs and redness that is either folliculitis or ringworm or whatever the hell it is, but is it safe to use nizoral twice a week with using head and shoulders the other days of the week? my family dr is also aware of my paranoia about my hair and said that nizoral would thicken up my hair pretty good and i could even see my hairline lower, is that true? and is it safe to use both head and shoulders and nizoral?

I dunno, I think the only way to answer this question is if you post some more pictures of your hair.

If your hairline was any lower you'd have a monobrow. And no, I seriously doubt nizoral could lower someones hairline and yes it can cause a shed.

:dunno: As long as a normal shed lasts for, that's if you do shed at all and i don't think it would be noticeable..Keep in mind i said it can cause a shed, just cause it could doesn't mean it would.

well ill give it a shot, ive tried to get rid of whatever is going on up there, minocycline, tetracycline, lamisol, selsun blue, so this is my last resort, i get like these randon bald spots the size of dimes by my crown and back of my head, thye are red flat patches, and is generally sore, but the hair always grows back after like a month, but its very frustrating, i get like pimples on there, and like, crust, its horrible, so im hoping nizoral will help these problems as nothing else has, derm said folliculitis, while my dr said ringworm, ive tried solutions for both and neither has helped, i thought of alopecia areata, but the scalp isnt usually red with that
