Question Regarding Finasteride For The Smart Heads Out There!

Hi everyone!

I am 21years old, and I am getting some maturing templets. This got me wondering like a crazy person about all kinds of treatments like Finasteride. This less me to a kinds specific question, which is the following:

I was wondering that if someone takes finasteride in their early twenties or late teens, to block their DHT, will they then keep more hair when they get older?

I know that it is commonly known that people loose whatever they gained/kept while being on finasteride, BUT if I were to jump on finasteride now (where I produce the most testosterone) and I block DHT. Then when I get older I can come off finasteride and since I won’t produce as much testosterone when I am older then I should not loose as much hair?

I dont know for sure but i'll do it to keep my hair, if i dont get sides or anything of the sort why not? I too am 21 and started finasteride like 5 days ago, im hoping for the best.
