I'm 27 and on proscar, 5% minoxidil, and nizoral for about 5 years now. I have had pretty good success so far with no visible thinning anywhere but at the temples and I guess a little at the center hairline too.
I think the hairline is starting to go a little more this past year and wanted to know if anybody had success with greater than 5% minoxidil. I'd rather go to a 7.5% or 10% minoxidil before going to the 12.5% or 15% at minoxidil.com. Does anyone know where I can find a 7.5% or 10% solution? Also does it seem smarter to save the big guns (12.5 and 15 percent) for later after I've already gotten good growth from 10% or should I just upgrade now? Also does anyone have any other suggestions instead or in addition to higher % minoxidil? i.e. lasercomb, tricomin, etc.? Thank you!
