Hey guys I haven't been able to find this and I'm tired of searching! Do you have to wash out your head between applications? or is it ok to simply apply over the dried product? I have the liquid. Is there any harm to come from leaving the product in too long? Say you didnt shower for a day(just for example) and you had minoxidil in your scalp, do you think it could do harm?

I can't speak for the liquid but the foam is fully absorbed after a few hours. Unless you get irritation from applying the liquid I can't see how leaving it in for a long time can be a problem. If your scalp is fine after 8-9 hours of sleep it should be ok if your a cleanliness-phobe and leave it in for 24.

I've done both. i have left the dry minoxidil in and just applied my second application over it and sometimes wash my head between applications. It will not do any harm either way. I have been on liquid for 4 years. Hope this helps.
