No need to get sarcy, Tynan. The reason I bought Propecia over Proscar is because I'm reluctant to take finasteride and thought I would start off with the actual product designed for hair loss, I then wouldn't have the bother of cutting Proscar and end up with a higher dose of 1.25mg. Also, one pack of Propecia costs £39.50 from In House and one pack of Proscar is £60.34, so if I do get the side effects and stop taking it I will save myself a few quid. Obviously Proscar would have worked out cheaper in the long run, assuming I continue taking it, but like I say, I want to start off with the correct product and dosage first and then maybe move up to 1.25mg with Proscar.
