I've had to stop avodart due to side effects. Here is my question. Lets say i started using it topically, would it still be getting into my blood and system causing the same side effects? Would i avoid the side effects?

my guess would be probably not. There would still be a chance that it would affect you but not at the same magnitude. It also depends on the vehicle that you are going to use for absorption. For example if you look at say spironolactone, taking that internally is basically asking for your nuts to disappear but topically you hear very little if anyone with side effects.

I think you would be wasting your time putting it on topically.

We need a product that we can place on our heads that makes us think we have a full head of hair.

I doubt if you'd get side effects topically.

I don't know if I'd agree it's a waste of time topically, we just dont know so its worth a go. I think some people on hairsite were experimenting topically you might try looking there for info.
