if i've understood your theory at all, it would seem that a hat built around coldpacks would help, via both contact pressure and temperature to reduce fluid pressure around the follicles. if i were to build such a hat would it be best to have the ice packs on the top of the head, on the side or on both?

Interesting!

Just the male pattern baldness area needs to be cooled, if you could do it often enough.

Just like using an ice pack on injuries, it restricts the blood supply that feed the swelling.

Twice a day inversion theropy definately helps, i think by exercising the feed and return circulation.

Good luck.

Personal experience.

What i do morning and night, is to lie on my bed with my backside on the pillow and legs vertical up the wall. Whilst in this position for 4-5 mins, i also gentle massage my scalp.

This does help in my experience, i suggest by exercising the venous drainage scalp system.

I think it is worthwhile, and "free".
