What are your feelings on spironolactone? How much is backed scientifically and do you think its a good addition to the big three? Thanks.

There is no doubt that spironolactone has antiandrogenic properties. That's been well-demonstrated in scientific studies with both humans and animals. However, I feel that topical spironolactone in humans is only a fairly mediocre antiandrogen. It works, but it's nothing to write home about. However, it may well be useful as an addition to the "big three", for those who are refractory to the standard treatments.

spironolactone is an effective topical anti-androgen. However, it's also kind of a pain in the *** to use. Give the big 3 time to work, if after a year or so you are not a happy man than consider it.

Has anybody ever in their lives found anything so good that they've 'written home about it'? It's a strange saying, that's for sure.

Anyway, it's worth giving it a shot if you have the time to apply it, but i would agree with the others that give the 'big 3' a good chance first, not much point using it until you've seen how you do on the simplest, most effective regimen available.

It's a figure of speech.

She is fine!! You guys think she likes to sit on old men's laps?

Sure she will sit on your lap, while counting the money you paid her. At least that's been my experience.
