A friend of mine told me that cloned cells only live half the time of normal cells.

I dont know anything about cloning so im wondering if that is true then what would be expected life time of the cloned hair?

How long does normal hair live?

Will you have to redo the procedure ever 5 years of what?

Its something i have never heard, although i have done some research on hair multiplication, but i dont consider my self as an expert. (Actually i am many levels behind :p)

In fact, since hair multiplication is at best at phase II trials, i think even the developers cant know for sure...only time will tell i guess!

Propecia only works for a few years, and minoxidil only works whilst you apply it.

5 to 10 years of hair is good enough. In that time, many more possible cures may come out. Hair also grows and falls out cyclically, so if cloning it means it falls out in half the time, it just means it will regrow earlier.
