Its a little over 7 months i take finasteride now, i can really only claim maintenance at this point in time but will give it a full 2 years to assess my final outcome of the drug. I have a question regarding the frequency of my dosage and the effects i feel about 2 days after my last dose. So i kind of have a sure thing regimen where i take 1mg/3xa week, in between those days ill add in extra 1mg or .5 whenever i feel like it, so my regimen looks more like 1mg/3xa week and .5/2x a week. I always give myself friday and saturday off, on to my actual question,
So when i take my last dose thursday night, by sunday morning i definitely notice more of an oilier scalp and some minor itching returns on my temples and throughout the scalp. Should i be worried about these symptoms in the sense that the 2 days off are doing more harm than good? Or are these symptoms just minute and irrelevant in the grand scheme of things? would appreciate any input guys, thanks!
