Question About Suspending Use Of Minoxidil And Propecia

I have an initial VA appointment where they are doing lab work. I'm applying for disability and one of my 5 claims is high blood pressure since there is a high correlation between blood pressure issuesand the job I had. Off oral minoxidil I'm at 160/90 and with it I'm at 130/80. On it I will be right on the fence of qualifying for this claim, off it I'm getting it for sure. Obviously being paid for the rest of my life is more imoortant than hair.

But, since obviously my hair loss bothers me, how badly do you think I'll shed from not being on either for about a week? I'm thinking about staying on at least the propecia... doing research now to see what it may throw off for my initial lab tests.

I don't think you'll shed too bad. Are you really only taking 5mg of oral minoxidil? Its had that much of an affect on your blood pressure? I'm taking 12.5mg and my blood pressure hasn't moved an inch.

Yea, I was a very good responder to it for hair and heart. I upped my dosage to 10mg about a week ago after seeing your success post. I found that it only has a 4 hour half life, so might only take myself off for 3 or 4 days instead of a full 7... my hair gains have been so good lately I'm terrified of back tracking at all.

I was very much a no picture guy when I was balding. All pictures I have pre meds are cut off at forehead lol. I didn't start taking real pictures again until I had enough hair to use concealers. If I find any that slipped through I'll post them.
