If someone could answer this question it would be very helpful...I have been a pretty good responder to avodart and minoxidil in the past but i never really tried nizoral. To my understanding nizoral is used to reduce the inflamation caused by minoxidil. Now if i have never experienced any redness, itching, or inflamation would it still be beneficial to my regime if i were to add nizoral??im not really sure what it would help with since my scalp really doesnt seem to have any adverse effects from the minoxidil..thanks

It acts as a mild anti-androgen as well as an anti-inflammatory and is a cheap and easy addition to any regime. Their is a small study which shows that it has a simillar effect to 2% minoxidil in the research section of this site.

I say just stick to T-gel....it squashes any sort of inflamation or breakouts on my scalp...it's a great shampoo...while Nizoral does not do sh*t for me...I swear I even seem to lose more hairs in the shower on contact when I put that stuff on...
