Hi,I just have a doubt,my hair looks fine,I was born with receded temples but what freaks me out is that I see like white vellus where my hairline starts at the center an at the sides,I also notice that I have noticed some thinner hairs at the center of my hairline barely visible, the derm told me that I do not have male pattern baldness but what freaks me out are these vellus that I think is miniaturized hair,I read in some posts here that all people have some peach fuzz and in the site of doctor william rassman says that it is normal to have miniaturization in the hairline .My sister and mom also have miniaturized hair in their hairlines and have lots of hair.My question is that if this is normal?

yes it sounds normal to me...

both men and women have that "peachy fuzz" or miniaturized looking fine hair along the hairline....

Almost all men loose that hair in the 20's regardless of male pattern baldness, whereas women never loose it.

take a look at any guy in their mid twenties... you wont see that velilus hair their anymore... its like a sign of male adulthood.... not really anything to do with male pattern baldness, though i imagine testosterone has something to do with it.... its very normal... think of it as a sign of virility or a coming of age.
