Hello guys! Sorry for my English  . I guess this topic was on the forum but due to my little amount of english words that I know I couldn't form a correct search request to find the answer. So anyway I have a question about finasteride.

As far as I know, finasteride regrows lost hair caused by male pattern baldness. So if I start to use this medicine and I will obtain good results, whether the necessary will use its all life for keeping of results?

And also little a question :innocent: . Proscar=Propecia=Finasteride? Or I'm wrong?

Yes you will have to take finasteride for life if you won't to keep any results you may get.
And yes it's all the same drug, proscar is a 5mg pill and propecia is a 1mg pill, the 5mg pill is cut into 4 quarters which is 1.25mg and taking once a day,you will need a pill spitter for this, the 1mg is taking once a day or whatever is best for you.Proscar is the best way to go as far as cost.

In trials, 2 out of 3 men regrew hair. The rest (almost) kept all their hair for 5 years. A small minority (5%) lost hair after 5 years. It's really an amazing drug, as long as you don't get side effects, which are quite uncommon contrary to what you read here.
