how bad does it look?
38 years old. I have naturally thin hair. I went on a crash diet last summer and then when I got my next haircut in the fall, the lady said I was thinning just a little at the top of my head. As it was cut I could really notice it was thin all over - I could see my scalp. I suspect my crash diet triggered some stress-related hair loss, which apparently can take 6-12 months to recover from. There is also the possibility that I really am starting to go bald.
When I ask random people, some say its fine, others say there's some thinning just in the crown.
Apparently Rogaine 5% foam is 85% effective at either regrowing hair or stopping further loss. I am hoping that I am catching it early enough (I have no bald spot) so that at the very least I don't lose any more.
How correct am I about Rogaine? Is Rogaine truly 85% effective in at least stopping further loss? I am really hoping for some clear answers on that question.
I feel sold on the idea of using Dexpanthenol. I read it helps more Minoxodil get thru the scalp barrier.
My plan:
1. HLCC Scalp Therapy Dexpanthenol, then Rogaine %5 foam 2x per day.
2. Maybe I'll need some hair thickener like HairCubed, just a little in the back.
