After reading about some people having success online, and my derm saying over and over again prp will work...lol I think I need to give it a try (Standard Prp, once a month for for 3 months than every 6-12 months from there). I'm not worried about the money and I expect very little if any regrowth. If I could just get a reduction in the amount of shedding that would be a success.

The only thing Im worried about is a increase in hair loss, which I've read of a few people having this happen.

Any Feedback or advise would be great. Thank you all!
I do prp and it definitely helps..you should see some success when doing it every month for first three months. However if you are like me then you will see the results diminish at end of month two..meaning results fade a out 60 days after last treatment. Now this is based on my experience and I get it done every 3 nonths.. maybe you should get it done every three months after your initial 4 treatments. I dont see how going six months between treatments can be doable.

So you get prp 4x a year from what I’m hearing. That sounds a bit rough imo. Curious though how much does one session cost & how long does it take? I was considering prp till the derm or w.e i went to said that I’ll never experience balding again after the initial 3 treatments + LLLT for 5 grand. They just seemed like con artists to me.

Prp costs about $600 but there are different versions. I get straight prp...what you were told sounds like a scam. Prp will not stop balding for the rest of your life.

Thanks for the feedback my man. Every three months sounds like a lot but that makes sense. When you mean the results start to fade after 2 months what do you mean by this? Hair starts shedding again or it becomes less thin?
After two months shedding increases as if I never got prp. And the thinning picks up again as well. I've been shedding and thinning very fast the last month because I'm due for more injections. But I'm not wealthy so it's the best I can do. I cant tolerate finasteride or minoxidil.

I got PRP + laser done as well. It was great for me but I couldn't keep up with the high cost. It was was around $4k for three treatments and 1 year of laser hair treatment. I wished I had researched PRP before I got the treatment. The price for what they do is insane. They literally just centrifuge your blood, which separates the plasma rich proteins and inject it back. There's also different methods of obtaining PRP, essentially the amount of times they centrifuge and at differing speeds yields better or worse concentrations. You should ask questions about the volume and concentration of their PRP. Also like the above poster said, once you stop then your hair will start thinning again. It's only beneficial in the long run if you keep it up yearly.

Can you tell more about prp ? You saw some regrowth ? I am considering it too, it costs about 300$ per injections in Poland, for me its not that big money so maybe ill give it a try.

Pretty cheap, but in Poland even transplants are super cheap and trust me, we have underrated doctors and specialists.

Sure man. I went to a clinic here in the states. They focus mainly on hairloss and ED. I had 3 sessions done, one each month. And I had laser therapy twice a week at the clinic. From my personal experience my hair essentially got healthier and denser. It took about 6 months for the full effect. I don't know if I necessary had regrowth or if my baseline hair follicles were just responding to the growth factors. I suggest looking at some youtube videos and reading up a bit about PRP. I'm currently a nursing student and I'll probably try to do PRP at home once I complete my degree.

Yea it’s stupid expensive for what they do. I can’t find anyone under $1100 a session around here. Just can only pray that 1 or 2 sessions a year for longevity will work. If it even works to begin with
What city are you in?
