Proxiphen: Bryan, etc?

This is for any of you that have used proxiphen or are currently using it.

Is proxiphen easy to apply, due to the formula being a cream? Any irritation issues? One application at night, correct?


Bryan did you use the proxiphen-n or proxiphen? I understand you were able to maintain pretty well with it?

The reason I ask is I'm considering giving it a go! Unfortunately, Eucapil is causing some serious irritation issues. I'm going to try and stick it out a little longer, but I don't think it is going to work out. Proxiphen is expensive as hell, but I'm willing to give it a go. I would just like some feedback from those who have used it or are currently doing so.

Hi Viper, Sorry to hear the Eucapil is not working out for you. I have been using Proxiphen for a month and a bit so I cannot really give you anything in terms of results but I can tell you:

- It's been extremely easy for me to incorporate into my daily schedule. I apply it at night right before bed but only at the hairline. If you are to apply it all over your scalp and you still have quite a lot of hair there I think it can get quite difficult.

Alos I'm making one vial last for 2 month with no problem - but instead adding NANO shampoo 3 times a week. Proxiphen is not really that expensive (if it works) with an every second day application after one year of use.

- I have had absolutely no irritations from it - but then on the other hand I never had any at all - never had an itchy scalp or irritation issues.

Buffboy should have been on it for about 4 months by now if I remember correctly - but He hasn't been around for quite a while?! Buff, where are you my man?!

Thanks man!! I'm concerned about being able to get it directly on the scalp because it is in a cream form. However, if eucapil does not work out within the next week I'll probably give it a go. Anyone else using it? Buffboy let us know what is going on?

Did Prox cause shedding???? Seems like an interesting alernative.

Only within the last week I have noticed that the area where I apply the Proxiphen seems to get thinner - I think I might be shedding a bit from treatment - impossible for me to say 100% though.

On the other hand I was always hoping I would be shedding from the proxiphen - to me that's a sign that it's reacting and doing something...

Just remembered Viper - Proxiphen is also available in a liquid form. (Do a search for the two long Proxiphen threads I made 3-4 months ago) According to Dr. Proctor is's not quite as potent and therfore you have to apply it twice a day. It should dry instantly as well..
