So this started popping up in commercials here in Finland; Provexin (swedish product). They claim at least 30% regrowth on 50% of Androgenetic Alopecia sufferers in their clinical study (with only 20 people lol). I haven't read too much into it but those claims are crazy.

"Half of those who have lost hair (Androgenetic Alopecia) regains more than 30% of their lost hair.." and more crazy claims..
I can translate more when I have time, but lots of stuff there sounds too good to be true.

Has anyone tried it? Heard of it? Sounds like snake-oil to me.

If the site doesn't mention the science behind it (even at a basic level) then I would automatically assume snake oil. Maybe someone can translate the text. Also, 30% does sound too good to be true. I do wonder though, do snake-oil sellers typically lie about or fraudulently conduct clinical studies? I feel like most just prey on people who don't even think to consider clinical studies.

These laughably small treatment groups (16 subjects) seem to be a trend - how hard is it to get 50+ participants? Regardless, that "31% had an increase over 100%" caught my eye. Calling it hair *growth* instead of "count" is suspicious, but it does say earlier in the paragraph that theyre measuring # of hairs. If this is true, I just can't believe the recovered hairs were originally lost to male pattern baldness. As much as I'd like to be proven wrong..

It's the same sh*t as recapeen which was first released on the swedish market in 2004. After googling some I can say that most swedes that tried it back then had no results from it.

Apparently there was a study on recapeen in 2004 but they don't mention it anywhere in this new study from 2016.

The pictures they are using in the new study are also directly ripped from the 2004 study which you can see on their old archived homepage: http://web.archive.org/web/20070120012622/http://www.recapeen.se/
"New" study here: http://file.scirp.org/pdf/JCDSA_2016031010393174.pdf

Someone please sue them for false advertisement...
