What are your opinions on getting a RX for Proscar and using a pill cutter to cut it in quarters?

I might need to get on finasteride soon. But I read that getting generic Proscar will save a lot costs.

The only thing that might worry me is getting an RX for Proscar from a doctor. I heard they don't like to hand out RXs for Proscar?

And are there any downsides to taking 1.25 mg of finasteride opposed to the suggested 1.00 mg?

If you can't get an Rx from a doctor use Alldaychemist.com they sell cheap and legit finasteride without an Rx. If you get no sides on 1mg I doubt you will have sides on 1.25mg.
