Proscar Shed Q

i just started proscar and nizoral. when and if i shed, what hairs do i actually shed? hairs that have regrown as a cause of the proscar, or hairs that i already had even before taking proscar? i'm just wondering b/c i am probably a 1-1.5 on the norwood scale, and the reason i started is just to maybe get a little back on my temples and hairline and maybe crown. i would hate to lose hair that i already have. thanks.

A shed is a good thing, it means the new hairs are coming in and pushing out the older ones that are likely limp.
